Troubleshooting
Use this guide if you run into issues deploying or operating KV King. Most problems are related to Splunk permissions. This will be updated as more support requests are submitted.
A user can't submit a form
Ensure that the user has the correct permissions in the following areas:
- The user is assigned the correct role to view the form within the KV UI Editor.
- The user has access to the app that the form is embedded in.
- The user has read / write permission to the underlying KV Store that the form relates to.
Still stuck?
Gather the following information and send it to Mission Analytics support:
- The KV King app version (found in Manage Apps).
diagoutput from the affected Splunk search head (feel free to scrub customer data).- Browser console output, if errors are reported there.
Providing these details up front drastically reduces the time it takes us to identify the issue.
