Step 1 - Select KV Store

Start by choosing the KV Store collection the form will read from and write to. Multiple KV Forms can be created for an individual KV store - for example where you want to expose different fields or logic to end users.

  1. Open KV UI Forms → Add KV UI.
  2. Select the KV Store you wish to use.
  3. Enter a name and optional description. The description supports Markdown, for added pizzazz.
  4. Optional: Select Splunk Roles that can access this form. If left blank, then all users can access.
